This prestigious tournament is open to the local associations All Events Champions (both handicap and actual) only.
Rachael Delserone of Lorain represented her association and defended her title in the 35th Buckeye Belle Tournament (Actual Division). Rachael rolled games of 234, 211, 256 and 245 for a total of 946. She received an award and cash prize of $200.00. A total prize fund of $1,275.00 was shared by the top 10. Following in second place was Marla Chicase from Youngstown-Salem with 901 and Kari Miller from Lima with 831 came in third. Bonny Sprinkle from Miami Valley represented her association in the 2nd Buckeye Belle Tournament (Handicap Division). Bonny rolled games of 203, 186, 176, and 181 and a handicap of 172 for a total of 918. She received an award and cash prize of $200.00. A total prize fund of $1,175.00 was shared by the top 9. Following in second place was Jenna Poppe of Champaign County with 894 and Cathy Rupert of St. Marys came in third with 863. The tournament was held at Poelking Woodman Lanes in Kettering on May 16, 2009. There were 51 participants in Actual All Events Winners. In the handicap there were 46 All Events Handicap winners.
